Advances in Neurotrophic Keratitis

About This Series

Neurotrophic keratitis (NK) is a rare degenerative corneal disease, with a prevalence less than 5 in 10,000. It is caused by impaired trigeminal innervation. This educational curriculum provides information about the underlying pathophysiology of NK so that clinicians better understand the importance of early diagnosis and the mechanisms of action for new treatments.
