High Risk Dyslipidemia Management in Asia Pacific

About This Series

This curriculum will address patients with high-risk dyslipidemia and their management from identification, to referral to specialists, all the way though to treatment.

This Educational Series was developed in partnership with the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology http://www.apscardio.org.

Studies conducted in Asia demonstrated that only about 30% to 40% of patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or stable coronary heart disease (CHD) achieve their low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) target. Upon completion of these activities, participants will:

Have increased knowledge regarding the ability to identify and assess patients with high-risk dyslipidemia to evaluate patient need for treatment beyond statins
Have greater competence related to the treatment of patients with high-risk dyslipidemia, particularly regarding initiation and management of treatment with PCSK9 inhibitors

These educational activities are intended for an international audience of Asia-Pacific healthcare professionals, specifically cardiologists, diabetologists & endocrinologists, and primary-care physicians involved in the management of patients with high-risk dyslipidemia
