Target Audience and Goal Statement

​​This activity is intended for neurologists, pediatricians, and other clinicians who treat patients with a genetic neurologic condition.​

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize a genetic neurologic condition and provide comprehensive care.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have greater competence related to:
    • Interpreting appropriate genetic results to assess a patient with a genetic neurologic condition
    • Making a definitive diagnosis of a genetic neurologic condition
    • Selecting appropriate therapies to address the spectrum of symptoms experienced by patients with a genetic neurologic condition
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to:
    • Develop a treatment plan for patients with a genetic neurologic condition
