Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for hematologists and oncologists, primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other clinicians who treat patients with MM. 

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize barriers to prompt and appropriate care of Black patients with MM and implement strategies to overcome these barriers. 

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Disparities that impact equitable care in patients with MM
    • Strategies to minimize barriers to equitable care  
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Employ strategies to minimize barriers to equitable care
