Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US oncologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, and the oncology care team.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to identify and discuss new clinical data and insights on immunotherapies for advanced NSCLC prior to the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) 2023.  

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Rationale for combining anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) with anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen (CTLA-4) therapies for the treatment of NSCLC
    • Latest clinical data for immunotherapy combinations for metastatic NSCLC
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Identify patients with metastatic NSCLC who may benefit from first-line treatment with immunotherapy combinations
