Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for primary care clinicians, neurologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, and other clinicians who care for patients at risk for stroke.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to assess the efficacy of interventions to improve stroke outcomes among US minority populations.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Assess outcomes of interventions to address individual stroke preparedness among US minority populations
  • Assess outcomes of interventions to improve poststroke outcomes among US minority populations
  • Outline implications for the healthcare team
