Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians (PCPs), neurologists, and related specialty-focused nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the care of patients with bipolar disorder. 

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to assess their baseline knowledge related to the diagnosis of bipolar depression and to increase their knowledge of clinical data regarding therapies to treat bipolar depression.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical data for therapies to treat bipolar depression
  • Self-assess learning needs related to
    • Using validated tools for screening/diagnosis of bipolar depression
