Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for cardiologists, pulmonologists, primary care physicians (PCPs), nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), pharmacists, physician assistants (PAs), and other healthcare providers (HCPs) involved in the care of patients with PAH.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to improve understanding of the patient journey in PAH and how to integrate this understanding into effective management strategies to enhance shared decision-making and optimize treatment success. 

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical burden of PAH
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Strategies to enhance patient buy-in and adherence to treatment to optimize outcomes
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to enhance shared decision-making and optimize PAH treatment success
