Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for dermatologists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinicians who treat patients with vitiligo.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to understand the disease burden experienced by patients and for clinicians to enhance their ability to discuss patient-centered treatment strategies.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Burden and impact of vitiligo on patients
    • Evidence surrounding the mechanism, safety, and efficacy of new and emerging treatments for vitiligo
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Provide patient-centered care that considers goal, preferences, and disease severity to patients with vitiligo
