Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US primary care physicians and pulmonologists treating COPD.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize early COPD and discuss the importance of treating small airways with appropriate therapy, including choice of inhaler device.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Recommendations for COPD therapy
    • Importance of targeting small airways for patients with COPD
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Selecting an appropriate inhaler device for their patients with COPD
