Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for cardiologists, pulmonologists, primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize the importance of diagnosing PAH sooner and describe the impact of PAH on patients' quality of life (QoL).

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Impact of PAH on QoL
    • Signs and symptoms indicative of PAH
    • Treatment of PAH based on risk status
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to enhance PAH recognition
