This activity is intended for cardiologists, surgeons, primary care physicians (PCPs), hematologists and oncologists, nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the care of patients with VTE.
The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize the need for an individualized approach to VTE management and tailor anticoagulation therapy in patients with/at risk for VTE in accordance with the latest evidence, guidelines, and patient characteristics/comorbidities.
