Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for cardiologists, pulmonologists, primary care physicians (PCPs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and other healthcare providers (HCPs) involved in the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to apply the latest advances in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) care to optimize patient management.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Current and emerging strategies for PAH
    • Risk-assessment strategies to enhance PAH disease management
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Tailoring PAH therapy to achieve treatment goals
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Initiate up-front combination therapy in appropriate patients with PAH to achieve low-risk status
