Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians (PCPs), nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), and other clinicians who treat patients with major depressive disorder (MDD).

The goal of this activity is to help clinicians be better able to individualize treatment plans for their patients with MDD.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Mechanisms of action (MOAs) of novel and emerging agents for the treatment of MDD
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Identify how novel therapeutic approaches may address unmet clinical needs in MDD treatment
