Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for nurses and nurse practitioners involved in the care of patients with follicular lymphoma (FL).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to care for patients with FL by enhancing their knowledge of FL therapies, and their skills managing treatment side effects, providing patient education, and working as part of the healthcare team.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Therapy options for patients with FL
    • Topics to address when providing patient education on FL therapies
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Preventing and managing treatment-related adverse events (trAEs) of FL therapies
