Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for diabetologists/endocrinologists, primary care physicians (PCPs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and other clinicians who treat patients with diabetes. 

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to treat patients at risk for hypoglycemia.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Differences in recent diabetes-related guidelines
    • Gaps in hypoglycemia treatment in people with diabetes
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Applying guidelines for improved hypoglycemia treatment
