Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the care of patients with aTTP.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to maximize outcomes for patients with aTTP as part of the interprofessional team.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical evidence evaluating treatment options for aTTP
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Utilizing biomarkers for aTTP disease management
    • Communicating treatment considerations for patients receiving therapy for aTTP
    • Designing customized care plans for patients with aTTP as part of the interprofessional team
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Leverage the role of the pharmacist to maximize outcomes for patients with aTTP
