Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for hematology/oncology nurses and hematology/oncology nurse practitioners (NPs).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to describe the nursing role in the holistic, team-based care of patients with PNH.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Mechanism of action of treatments used for PNH
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Tailoring management considerations based on patient-specific considerations
    • Mitigating potential complications encountered throughout the PNH patient journey
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Leverage the nursing role to optimize the PNH patient journey
