Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for nurses and nurse practitioners.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to evaluate the treatment landscape for MM, mitigate treatment-associated risks and side effects, and coordinate care as members of an interprofessional team.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Agents used in the treatment of newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory (R/R) MM
    • Coordination of care needed for the treatment of R/R MM
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Managing adverse events (AEs) associated with MM therapies
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Educate patients with MM about their treatment
