Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for cardiologists, diabetologists and endocrinologists, primary care physicians (PCPs), nephrologists, nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and any other healthcare practitioners (HCPs) involved in the care of patients at risk for cardiovascular (CV) events.

The goal of this activity is for the learner to be better able to present and discuss innovative case demonstrations by showcasing center-specific and best-practice approaches to conquering novel and complex challenges in coronary, structural, and peripheral disease. 

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Patient selection for an interventional valve procedure
    • Procedure selection for an interventional PCI procedure
