Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for oncologists, pathologists, pulmonologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to comprehensively care for patients with lung cancer in the real world.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Demonstrate improved performance associated with
    • Ordering appropriate diagnostic tests to adequately assess patients with lung cancer
    • Creating a customized care plan for a patient with lung cancer
    • Mitigating potential treatment-related adverse events associated with therapies for lung cancer
    • Educating patients receiving therapy for lung cancer on potential treatment-related adverse events
