Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US pediatricians, nephrologists, and pathologists.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to discuss the importance of measuring complement activity and to understand what tools/assays are currently available to measure complement activity in clinical practice to make a diagnosis and improve prognosis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

    • Tools/assays available for measuring complement activity in clinical practice
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Use complement assays to improve diagnosis and management of patients
