Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for plastic surgeons and aesthetic medicine clinicians, dermatologists, primary care physicians, and nurses.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to incorporate chemical peels to address patients' goals.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have greater competence related to
    • The appropriate application of chemical peels based on the individual patient's skin concerns
    • Advising patients on appropriate post-procedure care
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Effectively communicate with ethnically diverse patient populations regarding chemical peels
