Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for obstetrician/gynecologists, primary care physicians, and nurses.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to understand the limitations of current fertility assessment practices and the benefits of assessing estradiol and progesterone levels for both the patient and healthcare professionals.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Roles of different hormones in fertility
    • Gaps in fertility monitoring/assessment
