Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for hematologist/oncologists, transplant specialists, pediatricians, emergency medicine physicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary transplant team.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to diagnose HSCT-TMA and to recognize the evolving role of complement-based therapies in the care of patients with HSCT-TMA.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Key clinical trial data evaluating complement-based therapies for the treatment of HSCT-TMA
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Accurately diagnosing HSCT-TMA
    • Personalizing treatment decisions for patients with HSCT-TMA

    • Comprehensively treat patients with HSCT-TMA as part of the multidisciplinary team
