Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other clinicians involved in the care of patients with pancreatic cancer.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to manage patients with pancreatic cancer through detailed discussions related to new and current treatment options.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical data associated with new therapies used in the first-line setting of metastatic pancreatic cancer
    • Clinical data associated with therapies used in subsequent-line settings of pancreatic cancer
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Managing the adverse events associated with the therapies used to treat patients with pancreatic cancer
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Incorporate new and emerging clinical data into clinical practice to improve the outcomes of patients with pancreatic cancer
