Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for oncologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists, and other clinicians who treat patients with cholangiocarcinoma.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to discuss the latest clinical data presented at the Annual American Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium regarding the management of cholangiocarcinoma and to provide recommendations for integrating the data into clinical practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Key clinical trial data related to cholangiocarcinoma, including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, reported at the Annual American Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium
    • Utility of emerging data regarding cholangiocarcinoma, including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, from the Annual American Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium into the treatment paradigm for patients
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Stay abreast of evolving areas of interest for therapies for cholangiocarcinoma, including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, from the Annual American Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium
