This activity is intended for an international audience of non-US infectious disease clinicians and hematology/oncology specialists.

The goal of this activity is that learners will have a better understanding of immunologic responses to and clinical evidence of COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness in immunocompromised patients as well as when to administer booster vaccinations.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Immunologic responses to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in immunocompromised patients
    • Effectiveness and safety of COVID-19 booster vaccines in specific immunocompromised populations
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Appropriately time administration of COVID-19 booster vaccines in relation to treatment for malignancy
