Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for pediatricians, neurologists, critical care specialists, and nurses/nurse practitioners.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to increase their awareness of symptoms of MoCD type A, to differentiate MoCD type A from other conditions, and to understand the importance of early diagnosis in relation to maximizing the treatment response.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Primary early symptoms suggestive of MoCD type A
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Early diagnosis of patients with MoCD type A
