This activity is intended for obstetricians/gynecologists/women’s health physicians, pediatricians, cardiologists, neurologists, nurses/nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other members of the healthcare team for women with preeclampsia and their offspring.
The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to describe the association between maternal preeclampsia and risks for ischemic heart disease (IHD) and stroke among offspring, and the effects of preeclampsia severity or timing and of preterm birth and small for gestational age (SGA) birth on this association, according to a population-based cohort study using data from Danish, Finnish, and Swedish national registries.
