Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for orthopedists and orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, hematology/oncology specialists, diabetologists and endocrinologists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, and other clinicians managing fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be more knowledgeable about identifying, diagnosing, and managing FOP.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Diagnostic features of FOP 
    • Guideline recommendations for patients with FOP 
    • Emerging therapies for FOP
