Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US dermatologists, plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine specialists, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to use the ultrasound to maximize safety and optimize outcomes when using facial fillers.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Benefits of ultrasound to optimize outcomes with facial fillers
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Ultrasound-guided techniques to prevent/minimize complications from fillers used in facial aesthetics
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
