Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for psychiatrists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care to patients with ADHD.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to establish treatment targets for ADHD symptoms and select patients with ADHD who may benefit from multimodal treatment strategies.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Establishment of treatment targets for patients with ADHD
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Identifying patients who may benefit from multimodal treatment approaches
  • Demonstrate intent to act associated with
    • Implementing shared decision-making with patients for consideration of incorporating nonpharmacologic interventions as part of a treatment program
