Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for rheumatologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, and other healthcare providers (HCPs) who provide care to patients with AAV.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to interpret and apply recent clinical data on AAV therapies and management to their own clinical practice after completing this activity.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical data on new treatments for AAV
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Selecting induction therapy to achieve remission in patients with AAV
    • Assessing risk of glucocorticoid toxicity in patients with AAV
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Reduce the risk of glucocorticoid toxicity
