Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for infectious disease/HIV specialists, primary care physicians, nephrologists, hematologist/oncologist specialists, allergists and clinical immunologists, pulmonologists, and transplant surgeons.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to highlight the unmet medical need for PrEP and which patients will benefit from PrEP.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Need for PrEP
    • Immunosuppressed patients who will benefit from PrEP
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Identify patients who might benefit from PrEP
