Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for infectious disease specialists, primary care physicians (PCPs), urologists, emergency medicine physicians, critical care specialists, and others who have an interest in ExPEC.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize and manage ExPEC.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Prevalence of ExPEC
    • Management of patients with ExPEC infections
    • Multidrug resistance among ExPEC strains
