Target Audience and Goal Statement

Infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists, geriatricians, primary care, and other clinicians who manage patients with nontuberculous mycobacterial lung disease (NTM-LD).

 

The goal of this activity is to raise awareness of NTM-LD to ensure a timely accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment in newly diagnosed and refractory patients.

 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Identify patients who are at risk for developing NTM-LD
  2. Diagnose patients with NTM-LD according to current criteria and established testing methods
  3. Develop personalized treatment regimens for patients with NTM-LD
