Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for cardiologists, pulmonologists, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to improve recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of PAH.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Guideline recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of PAH
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Use of evidence-based strategies to escalate therapy in appropriate patients with PAH who are not meeting treatment goals
    • Use of effective strategies to educate patients on the importance of therapy adherence to delay disease progression and improve outcomes
