Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for primary care physicians, infectious disease/HIV specialists, allergists and clinical immunologists, pulmonologists, hematology/oncology specialists, nephrologists, and transplant surgeons.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to understand the role of vaccines vs mAb therapies for both treatment and pre-exposure prophylaxis for COVID-19, and be brought up to date on the current mAbs and key clinical data.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • mAb therapeutics for SARS-CoV-2
    • Clinical data for mAbs for SARS-CoV-2
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Identifying patients who might benefit from pre-exposure prophylaxis
