Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, primary care physicians (PCPs), and others who treat patients with PBC.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be able to provide equitable care to a diverse array of patients with PBC.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Prevalence of PBC among people of different racial and ethnic groups
    • Strategies for increasing access to health care for patients with PBC among diverse populations
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Selecting strategies by the interprofessional team to increase access to health care for patients with PBC among diverse populations
