Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US gastroenterologists, neurologists, pediatricians, and psychiatrists.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to understand the unmet needs in the management of patients with WD and latest developments with novel treatment strategies to manage patients with WD.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Current unmet needs in the management of WD
    • Rationale for the development of novel therapies for the management of WD
    • Key clinical evidence from studies of novel treatment strategies
