Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US pediatricians, rheumatologists, internists, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to understand the impact and consequences of subclinical inflammation, how to best identify and evaluate patients at risk of subclinical inflammation, and how to optimally manage these patients in clinical practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Evaluation of subclinical inflammation in routine clinical practice
    • Long-term consequences of subclinical inflammation
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Identifying patients at risk for subclinical inflammation
