Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for an international audience of non-US cardiologists, pulmonologists, and rheumatologists.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to describe important updates related to pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) derived from the 2022 European Society of Cardiology/European Respiratory Society (ESC/ERS) guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension, and their potential clinical implications.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Changes to the 2022 PH guidelines
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Diagnosing PAH based on the latest guidelines
    • Selecting treatment approaches for PAH based on the latest guidelines
