Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for hematologists/oncologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, and other health specialists involved in the care of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to self-assess their knowledge and improve their understanding of the latest clinical trial data evaluating immuno-oncology (IO) therapies for the frontline management of patients with advanced or metastatic NSCLC and how these therapies could apply to their clinical practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Factors that need to be considered for appropriate application of foreign clinical data
  • Self-assess learning needs related to
    • Understanding the latest clinical trial data investigating upcoming IO therapies for the frontline treatment of advanced or metastatic NSCLC
