Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for ophthalmologists, hematology/oncology specialists, and dermatologists.

The goal of this activity is for the learner to be better able to understand the latest developments in the treatment of uveal melanoma by discussing clinical cases to understand how to apply the latest trial data in clinical practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Latest clinical trial data investigating therapies for metastatic uveal melanoma
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Optimal management of patients with metastatic uveal melanoma
    • Identifying patients who may benefit from treatment with novel therapies
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Understand the implications of the latest clinical trial data
