Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US primary care physicians, infectious disease specialists, and pharmacists.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to apply best practice in symptomatic treatment of sore throat.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the

    • Best practice in clinical decision making for the symptomatic treatment of sore throat
    • Efficacy data of antibiotic treatment for sore throat
