Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US Cardiologists, nephrologists, and neurologists practicing across the globe outside the United States.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to provide need-to-know information about Fabry disease that will help to curb the long diagnostic odyssey.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical manifestations of Fabry disease
    • Long-term consequences of untreated Fabry disease
    • Available disease-modifying treatments
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Confirming a diagnosis of Fabry disease
