Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for dermatologists, primary care physicians (PCPs), rheumatologists, nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs).

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to manage psoriasis in a diverse patient population.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical data on psoriasis treatment in patients with different Fitzpatrick skin types
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Early identification of psoriasis in patients with skin of color
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Select evidence-based psoriasis treatments based on patients’ goals and disease characteristics
