Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US cardiologists and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to discuss the urgency of bringing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels to goal with combination therapy and keeping patients there for the long term.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

Have increased knowledge regarding the
- Need to urgently lower LDL-C with combination therapy
- Relative value of different combination strategies for long-term benefits
