Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for OB/Gyn specialists, pediatricians, and primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals who manage patients with congenital CMV infection.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to know when and how to test for congenital CMV in newborns at risk.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have greater competence related to
    • Screening newborns for congenital CMV infection
